Cleaning heaven! The Domotec iRobot Roomba is a robotic, bagless, vacuum cleaner that moves automatically around the house for up to 90 minutes. Its 3-stage process first brushes debris from the edges before vacuuming up; then its 2 counter-rotating brushes pick up larger bits, including dog hair, before a high-efficiency squeegee brush tackles the finer particles. There’s also a ‘spot clean’ facility for handling a spill on the carpet.There’s no need to spend hours marking out a cleaning area as the iRobot Roomba’s built-in sensors negotiate any obstacles – even knowing when there are stairs to avoid. If it does encounter a big obstacle a yellow light will come on to alert you. The iRobot Roomba can handle wood, carpet or vinyl flooring, moving effortlessly from one surface to another. It switches off automatically when the rooms have been done and there’s a light to remind you when it needs a recharge. Emptying’s easy too, thanks to the removable bin and filters.
